Job Description
As a Data Scientist at Cadware, you will play a key role in turning data into insights that support informed decision-making and strategic innovation. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that reflect Cadware’s values of ethical innovation, community impact, and data responsibility. Join our team via the Cadware Talent Accelerator Program (CTAP) as a Volunteer Data Scientist, where you will explore real-world datasets, build models, and deliver actionable insights while learning industry best practices. - Analyze complex datasets to extract meaningful patterns and trends.
- Build, test, and iterate on predictive and descriptive models.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to integrate data-driven features.
- Communicate findings clearly through visualizations and reports.
- Maintain clean, reproducible, and well-documented code and workflows.
- Foundational understanding of statistics, data analysis, and machine learning.
- Experience with Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, or similar libraries).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Power BI.
- Experience with SQL and handling large datasets is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is beneficial but not required.
